For initiating the Renewed Hope Initiative RHI program across the 36 states and FCT, President Tinubu’s wife has been commended for the bold step to reduce poverty in the land , but asked her to increase the grant to 5,000 beneficiaries across each state.
While urging Senator Remi Tinubu to also inculcate the female cabinet ministers and Senators to drive the program , stated that it will add more weight when there presence is been felt side by side with the state government.
Abubakar Yusuf on Friday asked the president’s wife to sustain the laudable programs of her office, stated that her initiatives has human face.
He appealed to Senator Remi Tinubu not to rescind the decision of making it up to 5000 beneficiaries, stating that the aim will be defeated when selective beneficiaries are the other of the day.
“You have good intentions for the floating of Renewed Hope Initiative RHI, but will be overtaken by the activities of state actors, hence the need to urgently jerk up the numbers of beneficiaries .”
