The wife of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Margaret Eleojo Salifu, attended the official flag off of the RHI Economic Empowerment Programme recapitalisation grants for 1,000 women petty traders in the state. The event took place at the Glass House of the Government House and was graced by distinguished guests.
The flag off ceremony was carried out at the behest of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, and was expertly represented by Hajia Fatima Tajudeen Abbas.
Hosting the event was the First Lady of Kogi State, who also serves as the coordinator of the Kogi State Renewed Hope Initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Her Excellency Hajia Safinat Usman Ododo.
Among the guests present at the ceremony were the Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly Rt Aliu Umar, as well as the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon Ahmed Bello, and other top Government officials.
