Recall that on Saturday, 13th July 2024, Sunday Bala Oma Foundation held her 14th Annual Seminar for Transformation of Nigeria, with the theme, THE ROLE OF DIASPORANS IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. At the peak of the Event, two personalities received the SBOF personality of the Year and of the Decade respectively.
Prof. Seidu O. Mohammed (late), was awarded the SBOF personality of the Decade for his immense contribution to space research development in Nigeria.
In a swift response, the entire family met, who were greatly amazed, appreciated the SBOF Team for deeming it fit to recognize the contribution of their late father, for such prestigious Honour.
Speaking on behalf of the Family, Mr Sunday Momoh could not hide his joy, poured enconiums on the CEO, His Excellency, Comrade Sunday Bala Oma. He prayed God to open more doors of Ministry impact beyond where the NGO has attained Globally. Almost in tears, Momoh remembered with nolstalgia, all the selfless contributions of his late Boss to Nigeria’s development, whose silent impact has been recognized, even in death. What could be more honourable, than this, he stressed.
In response, Bala Oma concluded by admitting that whatever impact SBOF is making across the Globe, God has been the motivating factor, while the SBOF Team, are only channels through which God is executing His intention via the organizations indelible activities.
