I am writing to you with deep concern about the recent attacks on our SDP supporters in Koton Karfi and Gegu. It is distressing to witness such violence, especially when it stems from political differences; engineered by your own self through numerous threat and utterances.
As an appointee of the current government in Kogi State, it is crucial to remember that we all have a responsibility to promote peace and unity, regardless of our affiliations. No one should have the right or monopoly to inflict harm on others due to political disagreements. You don’t have any monopoly to be evil against anyone because you think you possessed the government backing towards your atrocities in the state.
I urge you to reconsider your actions and work towards resolving conflicts through dialogue and understanding among your people. Let us strive to build a community where differences are respected, and disagreements are resolved peacefully than sending your foot soldiers to attack the peace loving people of Koto and Gegu.
The reoccurring situation in Koton Kerfi and Gegu is unacceptable but it seems the government have refused to protect the people and It’s crucial at this point we appeal to the peace-loving people to refrain from taking the law into their own hands but It’s important to protect yourselves and be prepared to defend against any threats from Bashir Gegu and his thugs
Governor Ododo, it’s essential that you distance yourself from these individuals who promote violence. Thuggery should not be tolerated in our state. We must work together to ensure that these troublemakers are held accountable for their actions and are not allowed to disrupt the peace and safety of the citizens of korton Kerfi.
The safety and well-being of all individuals, regardless of their political beliefs, should be our top priority.
Together, we can create a better and more harmonious environment for everyone and may I remind you that Power is Transient!! Where is the almighty Bello that was claiming white Lion all over the state? Bashir Gegu, You need to learn! Give yourself a brain cell that resonate with the modern ways of politics
