In this season of Eid Mubarak which its major significance is sacrifice, I wish the Muslim faithfuls a peaceful celebration.
I am particularly happy because of the maximum support you have given and still giving our government which has made us to stand – out in all spheres of governance.
I congratulate the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo for putting away all manner of pressures through surprise payment of June salaries just about 16 days after the payment of may salaries which has eased sallah celebration, thus; the people are all smiling on and off the streets. Ododo obviously can be described as a WELFARIST.
I also wish to celebrate with my amiable boss, the Executive Chairman, Idah local government council, Hon. Amade Egwuda Ochijenu at this auspicious time and also commend him for his exceptional leadership in the smooth running of administration especially providing adequate security for the people which has encouraged home – coming by those living in the diaspora for the sallah celebration.
The recent seamless administrative relationship between government and traditional institutions is unprecedented and is one of the reasons for peaceful co – existence within our domain.
As we celebrate the sallah, I pray Allah SWT to continue to guide, protect and preserve the good people of Idah local government area. I urge us to continue to pray for our leaders as prescribed by the Holy books and may this season of Eid Mubarak bring us good tidings.
