ATTENTION:
PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF STATUTORY SCORE CARDS/ACHIEVEMENTS BY MDAs PREPARATORY FOR THE FIRST YEAR TRANSPARENCY,ACCOUNTABILITY BRIEFING AND PUBLIC DOCUMENTARY AWARENESS OF GOVERNOR HYACINTH ALIA’S FIRST YEAR IN OFFICE(2023-2024)
The administration of His Excellency,Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia will clock one year in office in just a couple of months from today,being the 28th of January,2024.
2. In line with the above,the Executive Governor,His Excellency,Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has directed all heads of Ministeries,Departments and Agencies under his administration to forward the activities cum achievements of all statutory organizations headed by them to the Office of the Special Adviser on Research,Documentation and Strategy to the Executive.
3. This is in line with His Excellency’s conscious commitment to ensuring timely and proper transparency,accountability briefing and public documentary awareness of the good people of Benue State on his key performance indicators,for the first year of his administration in Benue State as Executive Governor. In addition,the documentation,accountability briefing and transparency initiative of His Excellency’s in this regard,is to further serve as springboards for accurate futuristic projections,performance and for effecting the correct balance of strategic planning and development process for the state,going forward.
4. I hereby write on behest of His Excellency,Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia to request your office to forward the following:
a. Detailed videos and pictures of activities and achievements of your organization,with dates and locations within the first year of the present administration.
b. Detailed achievements/activities of your organization to be contained and conveyed in writing/documents,with dates and references.
c. Detailed contending challenges facing your organizations,and the possible policy options in addressing such challenges,and other necessary information that may facilitate the aim of the Governor Hyacinth Alia in advancing the cause of good governance,transparency and accountability to the good of the state.
5. All the above information both in hard and soft copies should be forwarded to the Office of the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor on Research,Documentation and Strategy,Government House,Makurdi,Benue State,on or before March 2024.
The individual official letters to the above effect will be communicated to all concerned.
