The ongoing road projects which are the first phase of the Federal Lawmaker’s drive to open new layouts, reconstruct and rehabilitate with standard drainages the existing but damaged link roads across Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Local Government areas has been widely commended due to the pace and quality of work being done by the contractors.

Apart from roads, the high ranking Member of the National Assembly has facilitated well over two billion naira worth of projects covering ICT centres, classroom blocks, agricultural development, youth women and people living with disabilities’ empowerment and scientific equipments to his constituency in the 9th National Assembly.

Areas touched so far in Ankpa as part of the phase one are the popular Ejeh road, Mission street, Hospital road to White House, Ojede to the Anyigba express byepass Enugu road, Angwa to Ogodo as well as the Angwa-YMC-Liberia road.

The phase two and three which plans have been perfected to commence in the first quarter of the 2024 will cover about one hundred kilometres in Olamaboro and Omala Local Government areas of Kogi State.

While inaugurating the road construction projects penultimate week at Ankpa, Rep. Halims said in addition to his numerous infrastructure developmental intents, he is committed to the welfare and well-being of the people of his constituency through the facilitation of jobs and direct empowerment programs.
