The Nigeria Service Awards NSA has presented to the Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC, Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha the award of the social impact /human capital development.
While presenting the award on Thursday evening during the Awards and Gala night at the press centre, Radio House, the convener, Ambassador Cletus of COA Media described the recipient as a distinguished personalty, with high records of services in the public sector over the years, before he rose to the top echelon of the organisation.
He described the Dr Raji as a testament of leadership who had risen from grass to grace , considering his offshoot and orientation both in foundation and leadership at all spheres.
He said that the Director General within few months at the mantle of leadership of the National Productivity Centre has transformed the centre into enviable heights, and positioned it to deliver on its mandates.
The body asserted that they were particularly elated by the preparation of the organization to pilot the ‘Performance Management System’ been introduced into the public service by the federal government, which spur the body to single him out for the award.
As part of the program for the event , a paper was presented with it’s theme ; “Breaking Barriers To National Development” , presented by Engr Akin Olateru, Director General, Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), formally known as Accident and Investigation Bureau (AIB), of the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aeronautiic.
Other activities included the unveiling of the official magazine by the representative of the Chief of Defence Staff, Lt General Musa by Brigadier General Tukur Gusau , the Director, Defence Information, DDI, Army Headquarters, containing the list of the awardees of this year’s , 2023 program, including their profile.
In her response, Mrs Appiah who represented the DG appreciated the organisers for the award , promising to sustain the tempo.
The Director General, Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha was represented by the Director, Special Duties , Mrs. Amezhi Apia on the occasion.
