Against the decision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the dissolution of Board, Commission and Agencies, the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund NSITF Board still function and issue directives, along with honoring decisions from the former Minister , Chris Ngige.
This was a fall out of memos, and directives been churned out by the former Board Secretary, one Mrs Ijeoma Okoronkwo who was already transferred from the head office, before the removal of board, yet refused to leave.
Insider sources who confirmed the unfortunate development maintained that Okoronkwo execute directives from the former Minister, Chris Ngige and blatantly refused to move to his next place of transfer in Enugu state.
It was recalled that the former permanent secretary, Ms Daju Kacholom who frowned against such development, was jettisoned soon after her transfer to the Ministry of Health.
The decision been overlooked by the management of the trust fund under Maureen Allagoa was against the statutory act setting up the fund.
