Kogi indigenes in Lagos and Ogun state are in high spirit to receive the Social Democratic Party SDP governorship candidate and his deputy, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka and Sam Abenemi.
The visit scheduled for Saturday, 19th attracted kogites who trooped out in their large numbers as early as 5am to the Police Training College, Ikeja.
The visit scheduled for 10am could not hold until 12am , as the convoy of the SDP candidate was welcomed by a tumultuous crowd at the college premises.
Ajaka went round to acknowledge the support of Kogi people in Lagos state, appealed to them to come home and vote for him in the next Governorship election in November 11.
He asked them to be good ambassadors and to support the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu, while stating that the November election is a referendum between good governance and continuous maladministration.
He solicited for continuos support of the people of Kogi state, stating that his leadership will herald a new dawn in the state.
“As good ambassadors in Lagos state, let us appeal to our people at home to vote massively for SDP , the only symbol of people’s government in the next dispensation in Kogi state.”
