The House of Representatives member representing Mushin 1, Rt Honorable Adeyemi Ali Taofeek has extended his empowerment program to youths to encourage fish farming in his constituency.
The event which took place in Mushin, Lagos on Friday according to the federal lawmaker was to explore to the fullest fish farming and develop more flare for acquaculture and acquatic farming.
Ali restated his commitment to encourage youths in the area into going into fish farming considering the location of Lagos state that is sorrounded by water.
He assured the beneficiaries of continuous encouragement and revolving of the programs meant towards bumper fish production.
He urged them to utilize the grant in accordance by producing more fish meant for local consumption and by extension neighboring states.
Highlights of the program included the distribution of cash to encourage the new area of farming.
