Folks, I have repeatedly said this to all who care to listen. Igala Agenda is not about any individual. It is an ideology driven by purpose. The purpose is about the Igala ethnic group which is about but not limited to protecting the home front against any sort of negativity.
On this note, we must as a people be very meticulous about how we promote this agenda. Anyone can be the face of the agenda regardless of their political party inclination or religious beliefs.
As we gear towards the November 11, 2023 governorship election, I want to be up and frank with everyone that our current disposition does not guarantee our expectations as it were.
As much as we have witnessed an outpour of support for Muri the SDP candidate and also the hardline posture of Usman Jibrin as him being a better-prepared candidate to win the election, the challenge that this brings is a visibly divided house that cannot stand the current political gang up.
So the question is: WHY IS NO ONE READY TO SACRIFICE FOR THE SAKE OF KOGI EAST AND IGALA LAND?
What if Muri decides to step aside for Usman Jibrin ceding all his supporters to him for the sake of Igala land?
What if Mr. Jibrin decides to step aside for Muri ceding all his supporters to him for the sake of Igala land?
Until we have the key players unite, their followers will continue to rival each other to the detriment of the cause.
I fear a repeat of 2019 if we don’t nip this as soon as possible.
