The President , Igala Youth Council, Hon Collins Onogu has raised alarm over alleged death threats from Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
In a video clip released on Tuesday night and shared on social media , the former councillor, Olamaboro local government asked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Ag Inspector -General of Police , Kayode Egbetokun and other top security agencies to note the threats coming from the Kogi state governor, urging them to protect lives of ordinary citizens and political opponents in Kogi .
He accused the head of security agencies in kogi state of working with Kogi Governor and his cohorts to eliminate political opponents in the state, urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to address the growing insecurity in Kogi state.
He maintained that innocent people are been labelled as criminals and killed , while real criminals are going about with their illicit activities, saying that he is not a criminal and will not be a criminal.
The activist maintained that if anything happens to him and his entire family, Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello should be held responsible.
He said he is not unaware of killer squad of Kogi Governor scattered around Kogi state threatening to kill opponents in the state who have refused to support his imposition of a cousin brother , Usman Ododo as the APC Governorship candidate.
Onogu said he will not succumb to any form of intimidation to liberate the people of Kogi from the bad leadership under Governor Yahaya Bello.
