The former Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Emeka Wogu was on Monday decorated and presented with a certificate of a national award of the National Productivity order of Merit NPOM.
The ceremony which took place at the headquarters of the centre was observed by the Director General of the Centre, Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha.
Dr Raji who described the former Minister as a hub of labour related issues, eulogized his roles during his days that contributed greatly not only to labour related matters, but reduced to the barest minimum frequent strikes in the public service.
He Commended his unique roles in the public service that stabilised and doused alot of agitations both in the private and public service.
The Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC maintained that the national award as timely and well deserved.
