The purported endorsement of the Social Democratic Party SDP Governorship candidate by five political parties including the Allied People’s Movement APM was not to the knowledge of the party.
The National Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Yusuf Dantelle in a media statement on Saturday distanced self from the endorsement.
In his reaction to the decision, Yusuf maintained that the party is yet to endorse any candidate for Kogi Governorship election coming up in November, stating his dissatisfaction against any unilateral or individual decision to achieve personal gains.
He said the party will make it’s decisions known to the public soon on Kogi election and the actions of the APM Chairman in Kogi state, stating that no individual can dragged the party to such uncouth actions.
