Getting a new Kogi State of our collective dream is a task that must be done by all.
The idea of a Consensus Candidate was borne out of the need for us to recalibrate Kogi political COMPASS after the eight (8) years of abysmal misrule,pervasive lethargy and egoistically nepotistic government of Governor Yahaya Bello in the State.
For us to divest our individual interest towards coalescing all efforts in this direction for total recalibration of the State, we must look at the politics of number,demographic strengths and composite architectural barometer because this is what defines democracy.
Rebuilding a new Kogi State beyond Governor Yahaya Bello and above the politics of violence and the use of INEC for rigging, there is a general consensus that Kogi State should be taken back, out of the malefic grip of the man who calls himself the white lion.
Kogi liberation movement is the new shift in paradigm across the length and breath of the State that requires a consensus of the majority of voters to
garner the necessary muscles with which to disgrace and defeat
Governor Yahaya Bello and his candidate, Ododo, in November 11, 2023 governorship election in Kogi State.
The candidate of Governor Yahaya Bello, Ododo, who is the Auditor General of Local Government Councils in Kogi State, under whose watch Local Government Council finances have been ‘audited’ for his personal benefit, who ranted that he is the richest candidate in this election, and hopes to be the richest governor in Nigeria, as captured in a video that has gone viral, is coming to destroy not only the livelihood of teachers and local government Council staff, and put nail on their coffins, but he is coming to pilfer the allocation of the government of the people of Kogi State, and will cause the death of many more pensioners and civil servants, as salary will become epileptic.
Ododo has not even become governor yet but already at the mention of the name of Ododo for governor by Governor Yahaya Bello, even him the governor is already having problem paying salary and pension. As at today only the staff of the Judiciary have collected their salary in the State. An Ododo eight years will be harrowing for pensioner, teachers and civil servants. Ododo for governor is not something to be contemplated by the generality of the people of Kogi State.
This is one singular reason and why the consensus of the majority of the voters in Kogi State should work towards enthroning a candidate that can work to reverse what Governor Yahaya Bello and Ododo have done to pensioners, teachers and civil servants, and what the further plan to do with our resources. The consensus candidate must work.
Towards setting a new order in Kogi State, the opportunity presented by the Igala people working on producing a consensus candidate is a very good opportunity to be grasped. The Elders in Kogi East are bailing the people of Kogi State out by galvanizing the effort to ensure an acceptable candidate without legal impediments is presented to be supported for the election to save Kogi people.
The spirit of the people is strong and unbroken. There is a determination that is total and priceless,one of the reasons for which our much talked about and celebrated Consensus Candidate must work.
The unbroken cord that binds us together and the increasing water tight blood affinity that oiled our unity stands out and cannot be over-emphasized .
Our Consensus Candidate will win as we triumph in victory!

Government insensitivity and irresponsibility as demonstrated by lack of coordination and total control in all sectors of the economy is a thriving point for us even as it’s their own undoings.
